                              The Embroidery museum of Fontenoy le Château

 

The objects in this wonderfull museum reflect the recent past of Fontenoy, a time when it was known all over the world for its products. Such was the quality of these products that the Royal families of Europe, North Africa and the Middle East were among Fontenoy's best clients.

Thanks to its forests and waters, the Côney river valley rang to the sound of forges from the 18th to the 20th century.

In this museum, you will see examples of work, both old and new.

The museum is open every day from 15th of April to 15th of October

                                                           from 14.30 pm to 18.00 pm. Closed on Monday.
